I want their hearts to be encouraged and united in love, so that they may have all the riches of assured understanding and have the knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Colossians 2:2-3
Our youth ministry (6th-12th grades) offers a friendly, fun and supportive place for young people to explore the Christian faith, and discover who God has created them to be. We gather weekly in Sunday worship, and on Wednesdays at our mid-week, all-church ministry called "Everyone’s Inn." We meet as an entire youth group and in three age-based small groups: Early Middle School (6th-7th grades), Transition Group Older Middle School/Younger High School (8th-10th grades); and Older High School (11-12th grades). All gatherings are supported by trained and background-checked adult volunteers.
Throughout the year, our youth ministry offers unique opportunities to serve our neighbors and community as well as fun gatherings such as 5th Friday Fun Nights, camp retreats, holiday parties, and summer camp and mission trips. Our youth ministries is also an integral part of our Groundlings Summer Day Camp as middle school campers, CIT (Counselors-in-Training), volunteers and staff.

Small Group
Small groups offer a place for deeper faith connections to form in the church community. Age-based small groups for youth meet on Wednesday night from 6:45 p.m.-7:30 p.m. following Everyone’s Inn. We believe that “leading small” is the most effective way of modeling Christ’s community and forming disciples. Children connect not only with each other, but with adults who care for them, know them by name, and know what’s going on in their lives. Small Group Leaders (SGL’s) work very hard to partner with families, understanding that parents and guardians are the #1 influence in a child’s life. Families and SGL’s walk together in a shared faith journey.

Safety
We prioritize the safety and protection of all children, students, and volunteers involved in our ministries. All teachers, assistants, and leaders with young people go through a thorough interview process and background check screening.
